Purpose of Position:

This position under supervision, performs manual labor necessary to perform a variety of maintenance and landscaping tasks through such activities as maintaining campgrounds, restroom facilities and buildings, maintaining and operating vehicles and landscaping equipment. This position will assist park visitors and collect fees. This position is located at Oasis State Park.

A work permit certificate is required by State Law for The Employment of Children Under Sixteen (16) Years Of age at all times. An Age certificate can be issued upon request to verify a child's age.

This position is a Pay Band 30.

Working Conditions:

The position is labor intensive to include: digging, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting, as well as standing for long periods of time. The position requires the use of various hand and power tools, as well as operating vehicles and small landscaping equipment. One may be required to work in adverse weather conditions, extreme cold or heat for extended periods of time. This position is required to work most holidays or during peak events. Emergency maintenance situations may also arise requiring extended hours of work. Weekend/holiday work.
