We're looking for people with premium-brand retail store experience who want to work and be part of a premier campus bookstore. As a Supervisor, you have oversight responsibility for booksellers within the Textbook Department - and may have oversight responsibility for the entire store in the absence of upper management or at a satellite location. You provide assistance to the Managers to ensure all daily operations are consistent with our bookselling culture, superior customer-service focus, digital initiatives, operating and merchandising standards. You have strong knowledge of the merchandise in your department/store and a growing knowledge of merchandise in all departments. You help support the store by driving booksellers to create customer experiences that enhance bookstore loyalty and delivering measurable results for the store and for your school. You should have at least two years of experience, preferably in retail. Experience working in a textbook environment is a plus. You should have strong written and verbal communication skills. You are expected to work a majority of your time on the selling floor, which requires physical activity. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary.
